Multiphase Metering Roundtable

Texas A&M University hosted its 8th Multiphase Measurement Roundtable (MMR) in Galveston, Texas on May 1-2, 2008. This user driven forum was a big success as representatives from the oil & gas operating companies, manufactures, regulators, researchers, and Texas A&M students came together to close the knowledge gap on multiphase technology. Some of the topics covered at this years MMR included production testing, virtual meters, new developments in low cost metering, new approaches to MPFM performance assessment in heavy oil, test separators as multiphase meters and uncertainty in production testing of offshore wells.

Over the past eight years, we have seen MMR grow to become the premier event for multiphase measurement in the Americas and we invite you to plan on participating in this user driven forum for next year set for April 30–May 1, 2009.
